SAN DIEGO —Caltrans District 11 has postponed the Saturday, August 19 Kearny Mesa Dump Day event due to Tropical Storm/Hurricane Hilary. This is the first storm of this type to hit southern California, and maintenance crews are out clearing culverts and prepping maintenance equipment.
The Kearny Mesa Dump Day will be scheduled for a later date. The staff at Caltrans apologize for this inconvenience. The postponed date will be posted on X/Twitter @SDCaltrans and Facebook at www.facebook.com/SDCaltrans later this month.
