Northbound SR-67 Lanes from Slaughterhouse Canyon Road to Foster Truck Trail Closed for Emergency Work

SAN DIEGO —Caltrans construction crews closed all northbound lanes of State Route 67 (SR-67) in the Lakeside/Ramona area Tuesday morning just north of Slaughterhouse Canyon Road to just south of Foster Truck Trail for emergency sinkhole repair work. All traffic is using the southbound lanes with one-way traffic control. Northbound lanes are expected to remain closed through Wednesday. An exact completion time is not known.

A sinkhole, approximately six feet deep, was discovered under northbound lanes Tuesday morning around 3:00 a.m. during scheduled paving operations. Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
