SAN DIEGO —Caltrans maintenance crews will close the northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector to State Route 76 (SR-76)/Coast Highway Wednesday and Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. to install upgraded wrong-way driver enhancements.
Northbound I-5 motorists may exit onto Harbor Drive and continue to the southbound I-5 connector to SR-76/Coast Highway.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
