SAN DIEGO —Caltrans maintenance crews will close the eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connector to southbound State Route 125 (SR-125) and the westbound I-8 connector to northbound SR-125 Monday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement rehabilitation work.
The detours for both closures are as follows:
- Eastbound I-8 connector to southbound SR-125: motorists may take northbound SR-125, exit at Navajo Road, and turn left to southbound SR-125
- Westbound I-8 connector to northbound SR-125: motorists may take southbound SR-125, exit at Spring Street and turn left, turn left onto Campo Road to northbound SR-125
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
