Multiple Ramps and Connectors to be Closed Saturday Morning, 5/6

SAN DIEGO —Caltrans maintenance crews will close multiple on, off, and connector ramps on Interstate 5 (I-5), State Route 163 (SR-163), State Route 67 (SR-67), Interstate 8 (I-8), and State Route 52 (SR-52) Saturday morning from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. for emergency pavement repair due to recent storms.

The ramp closures are listed below.

  • Southbound I-5 on-ramp from Park Boulevard
  • Southbound SR-163 connector to southbound I-5 (one lane)
  • Southbound SR-163 off-ramp to Park Boulevard
  • Northbound I-5 off-ramp to Pershing Drive/B Street
  • Southbound I-5 off-ramp to Pershing Drive
  • B Street/19th Street to Pershing Drive
  • Southbound SR-67 on and off-ramp from Bradley Avenue
  • Eastbound SR-52 connector to southbound SR-67
  • Southbound SR-67 on-ramp from Riverford Drive
  • Westbound I-8 on-ramps from northbound and southbound Lake Murray Boulevard

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
