SAN DIEGO —Maintenance crews will close the southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) to the eastbound State Route 94 (SR-94) connector from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement rehabilitation.
Additionally, the southbound I-5 E Street/16th Street on-ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Motorists will continue southbound on I-5 towards the 27th/National Avenue exit. Head eastbound on National Avenue towards northbound I-5 on-ramp. Continue northbound on I-5 towards the 19th Street off-ramp. Continue northbound on 19th Street towards eastbound SR-94 on-ramp.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
