SAN DIEGO — Caltrans construction crews will be placing K-Rail as part of a construction project along State Route 67 (SR-67), resulting in occasional one-way traffic control Thursday night, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The K-Rail will be placed in three locations:

On SR-67 just north of Slaughter House Canyon Road

On SR-67 in three locations, just south of Archie Moore Road

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather, traffic incidents, or other maintenance considerations. Travelers are reminded to watch for highway workers and moving equipment and to Be Work Zone Alert.

This work is part of a year-and-a-half-long project to repair and improve 18 miles of SR-67 will begin, from just north of the San Diego River Bridge in Lakeside to State Route 78 in Ramona.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
