SAN DIEGO — Caltrans maintenance crews will close three freeway connectors in Mission Valley East beginning Tuesday, September 6 through Thursday, September 8 for k-rail installation and multiple maintenance work.
The Northbound Interstate 805 connector to Eastbound Interstate 8 connector will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. all three days, and the Eastbound I-8 connector to the northbound Interstate 15 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The detours for both closures are as follows:
- Northbound I-805 connector to Eastbound I-8: Head north on I-805 towards Murray Ridge Road. Take exit towards Murray Ridge Road and turn left at the stop sign. At the signal light turn left to enter Southbound I-805 towards I-8 east.
- Eastbound I-8 to Northbound I-15: Head east on I-8 towards College Avenue. Exit College Avenue and turn left. Head north on College Avenue towards westbound I-8. Head west on I-8 towards northbound I-15.
