STOCKTON – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has reopened State Route 4/Ebbetts Pass down to Raymond Meadows (Gate #3) as of 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Caltrans Woodfords Maintenance Yard crew members worked overnight clearing snow depths of 5 to 10 feet in locations to reopen Ebbetts Pass to the public for recreational and winter sports access.
State Route 4/Ebbetts Pass remains closed eastbound at Mount Reba Road for the winter season and westbound closures may still fluctuate based upon atmospheric weather events.
