One-Way Traffic Control on State Routes 120 And 49
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane closures on State Route 120 (SR-120) and State Route 49 (SR-49). Work is Scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 120
- One-way traffic control on SR-120 between Sweetwater Campground and Sawmill Mountain Road, east of Groveland, for slope repair beginning Monday, April 15 through Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 19, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. NOTE: This project is expected to last through June.
- Moving lane closures on west and eastbound 120 from the SR-49 junction to the Mariposa County line for a sweeping operation beginning Monday, April 15 through Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
State Route 49
- Overnight one-way traffic control on SR-49 between Smoke Street and Main Street in Jamestown for gutter and sidewalk work beginning Sunday, April 14 through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5 to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
