Lane Closures on State Routes 99, 132, & 108

Stanislaus County The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane closures on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 132 (SR-132), and State Route 108 (SR-108).  Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

 

State Route 99

  • Moving closure of the #1 (left) and #3 (right) lanes on northbound and southbound SR-99 from the Merced County line to the San Joaquin County line for a sweeping operation beginning Tuesday, April 9, through Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound SR-99 between Crows Landing Road and Tuolumne Boulevard in Modesto for construction work beginning Sunday, April 7, through Friday, April 12, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

 

State Route 132

  • Alternating lane closures on SR-132 between Reinway Avenue and Center Street and one-way traffic control between Center Street and F Street/Hickman Road and on intersecting side streets in Waterford for construction work beginning Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 12, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • Note: Construction is expected to continue through Fall of 2024.
  • Overnight, lane shift on westbound SR-132 between I Street and Santa Fe Avenue in Empire for utility work beginning Sunday, April 7, through Friday, April 12, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

 

State Route 108

  • Overnight closure of the #1 (right) lane of eastbound SR-108 (northbound McHenry Avenue) between Roseburg Avenue and Orangeburg Avenue in Modesto for utility work beginning Tuesday, April 9, through Friday, April 12, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

 

Motorists should expect 5 to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.  This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
