Lane Closures on State Routes 99, 132, & Interstate 5
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane closures on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 99
- Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound SR-99 between Crows Landing Road and Tuolumne Boulevard in Modesto for construction work beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
State Route 132
- Alternating lane closures on SR-132 between Reinway Avenue and Center Street and one-way traffic control between Center Street and F Street/Hickman Road and on intersecting side streets in Waterford for construction work beginning Monday, April 15, through Friday, April 19, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Note: Construction is expected to continue through Fall of 2024.
- Overnight, lane shift on westbound and eastbound SR-132 between I Street and Santa Fe Avenue in Empire for utility work beginning Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Interstate 5
- Closure of the #2 (right) lane of northbound I-5 from the California Aqueduct to a half mile south of Davis Road for a crack seal operation beginning Monday, April 15, through Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and from a half mile south of Davis Road to the vista point beginning Thursday April 18, through Friday, April 19 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5 to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
