Traffic Advisory Stanislaus County 3/21/24

Lane Closures on State Routes 99, 132, 108 & Interstate 5

Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane and ramp closures on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 132 (SR-132), State Route 108, and Interstate 5 (I-5).  Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

 

State Route 99

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound SR-99 between Crows Landing Road and Tuolumne Boulevard in Modesto for construction work beginning Sunday, March 24, through Friday, March 29, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Closure of the #1 (left) lane of northbound SR-99 between Linwood Avenue and West Main Street in Turlock for bridge work on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • Closure of the #3 (right) lane on northbound SR-99 between Hatch Road and Tuolumne Boulevard in Ceres/Modesto for bridge work on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • Full closures of the Ninth Street and Crows Landing Road offramps from northbound SR-99 in Modesto for bridge work on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • Closure of the #3 (right) lane of southbound SR-99 between Taylor Road and 1/3 of a mile south of Taylor Road in Turlock for bridge work on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • Full closure of the Taylor Road onramp to southbound SR-99 in Turlock for bridge work on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

 

State Route 132

  • Alternating lane closures on SR-132 between Reinway Avenue and Center Street and one-way traffic control between Center Street and F Street/Hickman Road and on intersecting side streets in Waterford for construction work beginning Monday, March 25, through Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Note: Construction is expected to continue through Fall of 2024.
  • Overnight, lane shift on westbound SR-132 between I Street and Santa Fe Avenue in Empire for utility work beginning Sunday, March 24, through Friday, March 29, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on SR-132 between El Vista Avenue/Mitchell Road and Trask Lane for utility work beginning Sunday, March 24, through Friday, March 29, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

 

Interstate 5

  • Closure of the #2 (right) lane of northbound I-5 between Shiells Road and Stuhr Road, near Newman, for a crack seal operation beginning Monday, March 25 through Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • Closure of the #2 (right) lane of northbound I-5 between Orestimba Road and Fink Road, near the town of Crows Landing, for a crack seal operation beginning Wednesday, March 27, through Friday, March 29, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

 

State Route 108

  • Rolling lane closures on SR-108 between Needham/L Street and K/16th Street in downtown Modesto for a special event on Sunday, March 24, from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

 

Motorists should expect 5 to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.  This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.  For the safety of workers and other motorists, please Be Work Zone Alert.
