One-Way Traffic Control & Moving Closures
State Routes 26, 49 & 88

Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 26 (SR-26), SR-49 and SR-88 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows;

 

State Route 26

  • One-way traffic control from Amador/Calaveras County line to West Point Powerhouse Road for utility work beginning Monday, April 8, through Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

 

State Route 49

  • Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through October 4, 2024.
  • Moving closure from Electra Road to Sutter Creek Bridge for striping operations beginning Monday, April 8, through Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

 

State Route 88

  • Moving closure from Route 104 West to Peddler Hill Maintenance Station for striping operations beginning Monday, April 8, through Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Sunnybrook Railroad Crossing to Route 104 East/Ridge Road for utility work beginning Wednesday, April 10, through Friday, April 12, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

 

Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
