One-Way Traffic Control & Moving Closures
State Routes 49, 88 & 124
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-88 and SR-124 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows;
State Route 49
- Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through October 4, 2024.
State Route 88
- Moving closure from Dalton Road to Shake Ridge Road for striping operations on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Previtali Road to East Molofino Road for tree work beginning Monday, April 15, through Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 124
- One-way traffic control at Waterman Road in Ione for utility work on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
