One-Way Traffic Control
State Routes 49 & 88

Amador County The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-88 for maintenance and construction operations.  Work to occur as follows;

 

State Route 49

  • Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through October 4, 2024.
  • Moving closure from Amador/Calaveras County line to Route 88 North for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, March 25, through Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

 

State Route 88

  • Moving closure at Route 104 West for striping operations beginning Monday, March 25, through Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Wagon Wheel Drive to Silver Drive/Golf Links Drive for guardrail repair on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Dew Drop Road for guardrail repair beginning Monday, March 25, through Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Cat Creek Road for guardrail repair beginning Tuesday, March 26, through Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Mud Springs Sand House to Elevation Marker 6,000-feet for guardrail repair beginning Tuesday, March 26, through Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Peddler Hill/Bear River Road to Peddler Hill Summit for guardrail repair beginning Wednesday, March 27, through Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Peddler Hill Summit to Peddler Hill Road for guardrail repair on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

 

Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
