Partnering for Sustainable Transportation: Navigating California's Changing Landscape

This three-day conference will provide attendees the opportunity to interact with transportation practitioners and decision-makers, exchange ideas and learn about emerging trends, opportunities and advancements in transportation planning from national, state, and local experts.

The 2019 CTPC will bring together representatives and officials from Federal Highway Administration, Federal Transit Administration, State Agencies, Universities, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Regional Transportation Planning Agencies, Transit Operators and Agencies, Tribal Governments, Cities, Counties, Private Sector Partners, Advocacy Groups, Researchers, Students, and other interested transportation entities.

Hotel/Lodging Information: We have negotiated a room block for conference attendees. Here is a link to reserve a room at the Conference rate. If you are a State or Federal employee attending the conference, please contact Jacqueline Kahrs or Alison Nealon for information to reserve a room at the state or Federal per diem.

Getting there:
The Westin San Diego is located at the intersection of West Broadway and State Street. It can be easily accessed from I-5 Freeway and is only a few miles from the San Diego airport. Please note: When navigating to the hotel the best address to use is 1051 Columbia Street, which will place you at the main lobby entrance.

Airport Shuttle Service:
The Westin San Diego provides San Diego Airport shuttle service to/from the San Diego International Airport between 6am and 11pm, 7 days a week, that is complimentary to hotel guests (included in the daily facilities fee). Once you have collected your luggage, please contact the hotel at (619) 239-4500 and one of our operators will give you directions to the pick-up area and an estimated time of arrival as to when the driver will be there to pick you up. If you wish to take our shuttle to the airport, please make arrangements at the luggage desk 24 hours prior to your departure.

Ridesharing from the airport:
San Diego Airport has two designated areas for Rideshare pickup. For terminal 1, exit baggage claim via the escalators, walk across the Sky Bridge toward Ground Transportation and the parking lot, exit down the escalators toward the parking lot, and turn right to the Transportation Plaza. Use crosswalk to the third lane for pick-up area. See signage for assistance. For terminal 2, upon exiting baggage claim, use main crosswalk to Transportation Plaza. Ridesharing pick-up is located in the second lane on the right. See signage for assistance.

The hotel is located just one block from the Santa Fe Depot which provides access to both the Pacific Surfliner and Coaster Amtrak lines.

992 Flyer leaves every 15 minutes from bus stop outside of hotel on Broadway ($2.50/one way).
