Office of Travel Forecasting and Analysis (OTFA)
We are now part of Transportation Planning, but we will remain in the same physical location.
The Office of Travel Forecasting and Analysis maintains and supports a wide variety of transportation related models, provides technical and analytical support for travel forecasting related data collection, maintains and analyzes U.S. Census data, and produces Federal and other mandated reports.
The office maintains, operates and provides district and regional support for microsimulation, travel demand, and air quality impact models, as well as operating and maintaining models for each system. The office maintains and analyzes U.S. Census files and disseminates information available in the Census Transportation Planning Package. The Office of Travel Forecasting and Analysis produces annual reports on statewide truck travel, vehicle miles traveled, and vehicle stock and fuel forecasts.
