Caltrans Transportation Planning Scholarship
The Scholarship Program has been discontinued until the Student Program is reinstituted.
The California Transportation Foundation (CTF) and the California Department of Transportation, Planning programs are offering three $1,000 scholarships to promising student assistants or student interns. These scholarships are intended to recognize, encourage, and assist outstanding students who are pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree in planning or a related field. Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in working in the planning profession.
To Apply for the Trans Planning Scholarship:
- Employment with CT as a paid student assistant, volunteer, or qualifying intern at time of application.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, and majoring in a planning related field such as: Urban or Regional Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration, Environmental Policy or Studies, Geography, Sociology, Political Science, Landscape Architect or Economics.
- Maintenance of a cumulative GPA of 2.70 or better.
- Plans to pursue a career in Transportation Planning after graduation.
