2007 - 2008 Aeronautical Chart
The 2007 – 2008 edition of the California Aeronautical Chart is now available from the California Department of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics. This chart covers the entire State on one page, which equates to the same area as five sectional charts: Klamath Falls, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. It is a useful tool for planning purposes, especially long flights within California; it is not to be used for air navigation. The chart shows all public-use and military airports. FAA defined private-use airports are not shown. VOR’s are shown, but airways have been removed for clarity. Airspace boundaries are shown only on the Terminal Area charts on the back. The format, aeronautical symbols, and colors used are the same as current FAA sectionals. UP-TO-DATE AIRSPACE CLASSIFICATION ENTIRE STATE COVERAGE BOTH WALL & FOLDED CHARTS “HEAVY-DUTY” TEAR & WATER RESISTANT, FOLDED VERSION AVAILABLE!
