CALTRANS “NEWS FLASH” SHOWS MORE THAN JUST HIGHWAYS
Creating a transportation system for everyone
SACRAMENTO – While the public’s perception of Caltrans may be limited to highway maintenance for automobiles, the latest Caltrans News Flash video shows how the department supports other modes of transportation within the state’s system.
Under the Active Transportation Program (ATP), Caltrans is partnering with local communities to develop and maintain safe, healthy, convenient travel options for people to use every day, and is broadening our scope of projects to benefit the many types of active transportation users.
