AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT PROJECT COMPLETED IN YUBA COUNTY

Yuba County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act project on State Highway 20 in Yuba County is now complete. The $950,000 project, funded by the ARRA, resurfaced 3.2 miles of roadway, east of Marysville, using an open-graded asphalt concrete which improves traction and drainage. Approximately 10,700 vehicles travelling this section of State Highway 20 daily will benefit from these improvements. This is the second ARRA project completed in Caltrans District 3 (Marysville), which encompasses 11 northern California counties.
