Initiate Right of Way Appraisals Process

Narrative

Right of way activities began during the planning phase, with the preparation of the Right of Way Data Sheet, the identification of relocation needs, etc. The effort continued through the early phase of design, by identifying right of way requirements and preparing appraisal maps. The appraisal process is now initiated.

• The Right of Way Appraiser establishes the fair market value of required parcels. This appraisal becomes the basis for offers made to parcel owners during the acquisition phase.
