Prepare Division of Structures Preliminary Report

Narrative

The Office of Structure Design prepares the Division of Structures Preliminary Report after receipt of the Bridge Site Data submittal. This report is sent to the district for review of the design features for the structure.

Review Division of Structures Preliminary Report

Narrative

The Office of Structure Design has sent the Division of Structures Preliminary Report to the district for review. The district reviews the report to ensure that it complies with the projects geometric requirements.

Narrative

Narrative

The Division of Structures is responsible for obtaining approval of railroad geometric plans. This may be a lengthy process, and submittals should begin early in the design phase.

Approve Railroad Separation Geometric Plans

Narrative

After the railroad companies approved the preliminary railroad geometric separation plans, the Division of Structures approves the geometric plans.

• Approve the geometrics.
