Composite Pavement
Composite pavements consist of a flexible layer over a rigid surface layer where the flexible layer is used to increase the performance of the rigid layer.
Before deciding on either a composite pavement or diamond grinding/grooving, engineers should perform a Life-Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) to determine the more cost effective solution.
