Inquiry #2: Page 11 of the Special Provisions, Traffic Control Chart No. F1, Note 2 indicates that the maximum length of one-way control shall be 1.00 mi. Being that this is such a remotely traveled road is it possible to increase that closure distance to 3 miles or more with the use of a pilot car? One mile doesn't leave much room to cold place, tack, pave and sand prior to moving the lane closure. This serverly limits production. Please consider.
