Inquiry #12: On sheet no. 31, ST1-0 Project Design Criteria, Materials, it refers to (Epoxy Coated Rebar). The Detail Notes, 4. All Reinforcement shall be Epoxy coated.
Is this Epoxy Coating in error? if not, are the anchor bolts to be epoxy coated as well as they are not called out to be so. Please indicate the condition which would require Epoxy Coated Rebar for future reference. Thank you.

Response #2:1) All reinforcement shall be epoxy coated as stated in plan sheet ST1-0 - Detail Notes - #4.

2)Anchor bolts can be stainless steel, galvanized, or epoxy coated as stated in STD Specifications dated May 2006. Sec 75-1.03 page 574, under Misc Br. Metal.

Inquiry #14: Will the engineer reconsider the load capacity of the roof?
Building supplier remarks:
" the state is requiring a 15 psf collateral load for future solar panels. With purlins, the highest PSF we can achieve is 10 psf. We do jobs all the time with solar panels and this is the first I have seen such a high load. Most of the time we are around 5 – 8 psf."
