Inquiry #1: I would like to come walk the job site tomorrow since I will be down in LA bidding another job for my company. Who do or should I contact to see this site tomorrow while I'm in town for the day? If you could let me know asap I would really appreciate it or do I even need anybody there with me, just let me know so I can plan accordingly.

Inquiry #3: Question No. 1(Notice to bidders, Page 1 re Bid Due Date): Will the State of California DOT extend the bid due date to March 28, 2013?

Question No. 2 (Section 3 Contract Award and Execution, Page 15 of 290,Item 3-1-.02 re Award Schedule): This section states the contract award period is 30 days after bid opening. Please confirm the days are calendar days.

Question No. 3 (Section 4 Beginning of Work, Time of Completion, and Liquidated Damages, Page 5 re Beginning of Work): This section reads "The 1st working day is the earlier of (1) the 100th day after contract approval…." Please confirm if the days are measured by calendar or working days.
Question No. 4 (M2 -Drawing re Enclosure): M2 refers to a compressor enclosure, yet in the specifications section 12-15.02, page 62, states that all equipment shall be waterproof and shall not require any further enclosures. Please clarify if an enclosure is required for the compression equipment.

4. If equipment is "weather proof" per paragraph 1 Spec. section 12-15.02 then no enclosure is required.

Please Note: Potential bidders that need to have DVBE Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise certificate? The last time this job went out to bid all bidders were disqualified due to this issue.
