Inquiry #1: Regarding Contract 01-496704 bidding March 5th - reference is made to the MOU from the Yurok Tribe regarding TERO - page 3 of the MOU requires a 3%of the contract amount fee be paid to the Tribe. Does Caltrans Pay this fee directly? Or does Caltrans expect the contractor to include this fee with the Contractors bid, and have the Contractor pay the fee??

Inquiry #4: On drawing sheet number 3 the work at Hinge #8 appears to occur outside of the channel of the Klamath River. On dwawing sheet number 37, Hinge #8 is shown as being located above the normal stream channel.
Allowing for seasonal flow variations, which drawing correctly represents the location of Hinge #8 with respect to the stream channel?

Inquiry #5: Section 10-1.01 Order of Work page 31, fourth paragraph of the project specifications, states:
"Removal of trees or brush or vegetation at each hinge reconstruction area and Invasive Species Removal and Restoration Area (ISSRA) is confined to the period of February 1 to March 1."
With this restriction it would seem that the replacement of the hinges cannot begin until 01JUNE2014.
Is this correct?
