Response #2:No, the petroleum impacted soils shall be left in the stockpile area designated for disposal by the State. Contractor will not perform testing. See note 3 on page 10 of 46 of the Contract Plans and reference in Section 14-11.06C(3) Disposal of the Contract Special Provisions. This answer assumes you are referring to bid item 10 Structure Excavation (Stockpile Petroleum-Impacted Soil).
