BACKGROUND INFO
The California Department of Transportation is committed to environmental protection through pollution prevention.
In compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit No 99-06-DWQ, the Department submitted these documents to the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) on April 1, 2013. The permit requires the submittal of an Annual Report by April 1 of each year. The Annual Report includes District Work Plans. These documents guide and report on our program to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the storm drainage systems that serve Department properties. Department properties include highways and highway related facilities and activities.
