Soils Testing
Soils testing is not a specification for the Contractor to execute. Rather the testing of soils is an activity that should be administered by the erosion control designer as part of the project report and environmental documentation phase of work. Performing soils tests early allows the designer to include recommendations for the correct soil amendments to be included in the bid package for the Contractor.
