DRISI Offices

DRISI is composed of nine offices that work together as a team to provide solutions and knowledge that improve Californias Transportation System. Executive Office

Office of Data Services and Technology


ODST is the focal point for all GIS activities in the Department.


Office of Highway System Information and Performance


OHSIP collects and analyzes report statistics related to the fiscal status, physical and geometric extent, performance, and designation of the State's roadway systems.


Office of Materials and Infrastructure


OMI develops and recommends research budget levels and recommends projects to be included in the Department's Annual State Planning and Research, Work Plan for roadway or pavement related research.


Office of Operations and Resource Management


ORM provides financial and administrative support to the division


Office of Planning, Policy, and Program Development


OPPPD provides information (analytical, statistical, social, environmental) to the decision-making process to comply with Federal and State laws, regulations, and mandates.


Office of Safety Innovation and Cooperative Research


OSICR provides essential research to find more effective and safe operation of the state highway system.


Office of Traffic Operations Research

TOR provides essential research to find more effective and safe operation of the state highway system.
