Description: U. S. Highway
395, at the San Bernardino county line is a conventional 2-lane desert
highway. The paved shoulders vary from 2 to 8 feet. Grades are moderate
to flat featuring desert highlands. North of SR-14/395 Jct. the road becomes
a 4-lane divided expressway with 6 to 8 ft. paved shoulders that feature
rumble strips. Traffic can become heavy at times with a significant percent
of truck usage.
