Valley Junction. This is a 2-lane highway with 2 ft. shoulders.
Traffic is light and mostly recreational. This route features moderate
to steep grades and features arid hilly scenery. Water is a
necessary cargo since services are sparse and shade non-existent.
Average summer temperatures reach 120 degrees.
