| WHO: | The California Department of Transportation’s (Caltrans) Adopt-A-Highway Program, announces the recipients of this year’s Adopt-A-Highway Volunteer of the Year Awards. CertainTeed Corporation located in Madera County and Modified Motorcycle Association and Miramonte Camp, California Department of Forestry, located in Fresno County, will be recognized for their outstanding volunteer efforts in helping to keep local highways litter-free. | ||
| WHAT: | Caltrans will hold separate Press Conferences on different dates and locations in order to acknowledge these outstanding volunteers individually. Award recipients will be presented with their Volunteer of the Year Award certificate next week. | ||
| WHEN: | The public and media are invited to attend both Adopt-A-Highway Award presentation ceremonies. On Wednesday, March 14th, beginning at 10:00 a.m., CertainTeed Corporation and Modified Motorcycle Association will be recognized in front of the Caltrans District 6 Office located at 1352 W. Olive Avenue in Fresno. On Thursday, March 15th, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Miramonte Camp, California Department of Forestry will be recognized at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Fire Station located at 210 South Academy in Sanger. |
