Caltrans to Hold Open House/Public Information Meeting
on the State Route 41 Excelsior Expressway Project
WHO: Caltrans has released the proposed Negative Declaration/Environmental Assessment and other project documents on the State Route 41 Excelsior Project in Fresno County. Caltrans will hold an Open House/Public Information Meeting to allow for the review of these documents.
WHAT: Caltrans is proposing to widen State Route 41 from two lanes to four lanes from Excelsior Avenue to Elkhorn Avenue in Fresno County. The proposed project would increase capacity, improve safety and provide route continuity. This project would include intersection improvements, changes to local roads and canal and drainage modifications.

Caltrans has studied the effects this project may have on the environment with a Negative Declaration/Environment Assessment document and is inviting the public to review their findings and make comments on the specific document and the project in general.
WHEN: Wednesday, March 9, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Riverdale High School, 3086 West Mt. Whitney, Riverdale, CA 93656.
ACTIVITIES: The public is invited to comment on the environmental document. Comments may be submitted at the Open House meeting or in writing no later than March 25, 2005.
