Q1) According to CPD 05-10 the grade of oil specified for High Desert / High Mountain rubber mixes is 58-22, is 64-28 correct?
A1) Please refer to Addendum #1 dated Macrh 7, 2008.
Q2) With PG 64-28 being a modified binder is there not some question as to it's compatability with rubber?

Q3) Caltrans has three projects in Mono County out for bid at the same time and all involve pavement overlays. With only one source of asphalt for all three projects, how does Caltrans propose to complete all projects simultaneously? Will Calrans allow project start dates to be ammended to allow prosecution of the work sequentially or based on asphalt plant availability without assessing Liquidated Damages.

A3) Scope of work and working days should allow contractor to complete all the work necessary with prudent scheduling.
No schedule adjustment will be made at this time.
