Q1) This contract specifies Lime Marinated Aggregate in the HMAC, will other methods be allowed so long as the required TRS's are achieved?

A1) No change to this specification will be made prior to bid opening. Please bid per contract bid document.

Q2) Are there any roadway cross sections available for this project?

Q3) The plans show a 0.3 meter sawcut, but there is an existing rumble strip with a paved shoulder outside of these limits. Is this area to be removed and what is the area and/or quantity?

A3) Bid it as shown on the plans. If a modification is needed a CCO can be issued to change it from the as bid condition.

Q4) Is the use of precast barrier rail MANDATORY requirement for this project?

A4) The State is not aware of any 'MANDATORY' precast barrier rail on this project. If the contractor's operations create any of the conditions which require K-rail, it will of course have to be placed in accordance with the specifications.
