Q1) The special provisions state to place additional RHMA-G along the pavement edge to construct conforms to road connections and private drives. Per the plans, the road connections as well as the private drive connections show using HMA (Type A). Please specify which material is to be used at the intersecting road conforms and the private drive conforms?

Q2) If HMA is the required material for either the road or private drive conforms, will a temporay taper be required along the intersecting pavements until the HMA can be placed?

Q3) If a temporary taper is required, will the temporary taper need to be the width of a travel lane or the entire length of "L1 & L2" shown on Q-4?

Q4) Under section 10-1.16, "Crack Treatment", Is it a typing error or do you want a 1.5 inch crack filled with hot melt. This wold be contradictory to paragraph one under construction where you dictate that "repair cracks wider than 0ne inch as ordered." which is the detail you are going to require?
