Q1) Are they referrig to dowels at the abutment wall which requrie an epoxy type adhesive? Or, does this contract require all reinforcement to be epoxy coated?

Q2) On page 9 of 9, a chart is included on the drawing regarding the transverse contact joint. The existing roadway is concrete with a skew of the paving notch of the 27 degrees. Accoridng to the chart, a staggered joint is required, but your details on the general plan show a parallel joint. Which joint is correct?
