A10) Yes, well surveys are to be performed by disassembling the well heads and pulling the pump assembly to take a measurement of the total depth.
Q11) Has this project been cleared by archeologist? Are there any known concerns?

Q12) What is the weight limit of equipment that can be on the highway?
A12) The maximum weight is 80,000 pounds. Weight exceeding 80,000 pounds will require a permit.
Q13) The highway is freashly slurry sealed. With the blasting, the rock will be on the existing roadway and will be marked and gouged. What will need to be done after the roadway is cleared and prior to opening? How will it be paid for?

Q14) The pipe crossing are quite deep and there is a good chance of hitting rock. Is there a possiblity of doing a long weekend closure for each crossing? Are fear is, that you may have to blast to get the pipe in and with the closure period it would not allow enough time to complete the work.

Q15) With the depth of the CMP crossing and the short closure, would Caltrans consider using concrete backfill for the entire trench?

Q16) At the discharge side of drainage system #4 the embankment is washout considerably. Are you wanting this filled and comapcted first? If so how is it paid for? Does Caltrans have access to the bottom of the toe of the slope?
A16) There will be RSP placed at the bottom. Compaction or fill is not believed to be needed. Caltrans does not have access at the bottom of the slope.
Q17) On the drainage systems that cross the highway, the MBGR will need to be removed and replaced. How will this be paid for?
