Q) Are you planning to delay the bid opening date? We are currently working on 5 projects bidding in the same time. We need about 3 weeks extension.

A) There are no plans to delay the Bid Opening Date.

Q) Vertical Bars are shown with hooks. If Temp casing was needed, it could not be removed. Can t-heads be used? Field bending is not feasible due to the bundled bars.

A) No. T-heads may not be used. T-heads require a special provision, which there is none in the contract.
CIDH is buildable as shown in the plans and alternatives provided in the special provision of the contract.
