Q) A considerable amount of roadway excavation is part of this project. Additionally,the project is located in the hills. Could the statement that "Cross sections for this project are not available" be a typo? Please verify the availability of cross section for this project.

A) An addendum has been requested to revise the Special Provisions and make cross sections available to bidders. Cross sections can be ordered by contacting Don Rader at Stockton Blue Reprographics, at 1421 N El Dorado St. in Stockton, CA 95202, Phone (209) 464-8724, Fax (209) 464-8739.


Q) On Sheet Q1, under Roadway Quantity Summary, the last row indicates 703 tonnes of Public Road, Repair AC Pavement. Where are the location(s) of the repair(s), and what is to be done? (ie. digout, skinpatch, etc)

A) "This quantity of asphalt concrete has been designated for repair of the detour (public road). Locations and extent of repairs are unknown at the present time, and will be determined by the Engineer, when and if pavement failures occur."
