A1) Cross sections are available for inspection, as stated in Special Provisions Section 5-1.09, "SUPPLEMENTAL PROJECT INFORMATION," by appointment. Q2) Will there be a temporary easement outside of Caltrans right of way to allow access to the rock excavation? If so, please describe limits.

A2) There are no temporary easements outside the Caltrans right of way. 15Sept10.

Q4)With this designated surplus material location at Tragedy Springs will the contractor be required to pay prevailing rates to the on-highway truck drivers transporting materials to Tragedy Springs ?

A4) With the disposal location of the surplus material being specified in the Special Provisions of this project, prevailing wage is required for the off-haul of the surplus material at not less than the Department of Industrial Relations Statewide Determination for Driver (on/off- hauling to/from Construction site). 23Sept10.

Q5) What is the stockpile grading requirements at Tragedy Springs ? Do we need to grade the stockpiles in any specific fashion at project completion ? Are their any erosion control concerns in Tragedy Springs ? Ingress & Egress concerns at Tragedy Springs ?
