Q1) I'm confused by bid item 070013, "Small Business Utilization Report". The bid page has a unit price and item total already completed. How should I bid this item?

A1) Bid item 070013, "Small Business Utilization Report" is a fixed price item. Do not alter the quantity, unit price or item total on the bid form. Include the item total in your total bid. The Special Provisions describe the requirements and payment for the Small Business Utilization Report.


Q2) Cross sections are NOT available as promised. We need cross sections to perform an earthwork takeoff. Please make cross sections available before Friday, April 3, 2009 to allow time to perform takeoff prior to bid date, which is Tuesday, April 7, 2009

A2) Cross sections were made available April 1, 2009. Copies of the cross sections may be purchased from Stockton Blue Reprographics, 1421 N. They are also available for inspection by appointment, phone (209) 948-7849, at the District Construction Office, 611 San Juan Avenue, Stockton, CA 95203.
