Welcome to Caltrans District 4

Highway 101 Widening in Santa Rosa

This Project Has Been Completed

HOTLINE 866-322-0614

Project Introduction: The increase in traffic volumes in the past several years has increased both traffic congestion and the duration of the peak traffic period on Route 101 within the City of Santa Rosa. Since Route 101 is the primary north-south travel artery in Sonoma County, reducing traffic congestion in the entire corridor is a vital component in accommodating continued growth. The Route 101 Widening (HOV) Projects involves Route 12 from the S. Santa Rosa Overhead to the Route 12/101 Separation and on Route 101 from the Earle Street Pedestrian Overcrossing to the Steel Lane Undercrossing and will consist of 3 stages taking place over a 2 ˝ year period.
