Two New On-ramps at SR-76/I-15 Interchange

SAN DIEGO – New State Route 76 loop ramps to northbound and southbound Interstate 15 will be opened to traffic beginning Wednesday, according to Caltrans.

Access to I-15 may require a left-hand turn depending upon the direction motorists are traveling.  The ultimate configuration of the new SR-76/I-15 Interchange will include on-ramps that are only accessible by making a right-hand turn. The new interchange, which part of the SR-76 East Project, is expected to be complete in August.

The SR-76 East Project is the final in a series of three improvement projects on the SR-76 corridor located between I-5 and I-15. The East Project’s 5.2-mile stretch from South Mission Road to I-15 serves local and regional traffic.
