WHAT:

Caltrans and I Love A Clean San Diego celebrates the heroes of highway litter at Adopt-A-Highway Appreciation Day and California Coastal Cleanup Day. The Adopt-A-Highway Program provides an opportunity for individuals, groups and businesses to adopt stretches of state highways for litter cleanup. These volunteers give their personal time and resources to make a difference in their communities, and save taxpayers thousands of dollars each year. Awards will be presented to those volunteers who went above and beyond in their contributions to the program this past year. This joint effort is to promote and recognize community participation, and how together we are making a difference helping to keep litter off of San Diego highways, beaches and parks.
