Full Freeway Closure on I-15 at SR-76 Scheduled for Monday Night

SAN DIEGO –The Interstate 15 (I-15) southbound and northbound lanes at State Route (SR-76) will be closed on Monday evening from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to Caltrans.

Crews will be pouring concrete on the south side of the bridge as part of widening and upgrading the SR 76/I-15 interchange. Motorists traveling on I-15 will be detoured to exit at the off-ramp and re-enter at the on-ramp. Access to eastbound and westbound SR-76 will remain open.

The SR 76 East Segment is the final in a series of three improvement projects on the SR 76 corridor, located between I-15 and I-5. The East Segment’s 5.2 miles stretch from South Mission Road to I-15 serves local and regional traffic.
